The Sheffield & District Junior League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7 to 16 years old in the Sheffield area. The league is sponsored by First Bus South Yorkshire and supports The Children's Hospital Charity.
History
The league was founded in 1920 and is one of the oldest junior football leagues in England. The league has grown over the years and currently has over 100 teams playing in it.
Competitions
The league runs a number of competitions for different age groups, including the First Division, Second Division, Third Division, and Junior Cup. The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the FA Vase, the Sheffield Junior Cup, and the Sheffield & District Junior Sunday League Cup.
