The Scarborough & District Football League is an amateur football league in North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1898 and is currently in its 125th season. The league currently has 18 clubs competing in three divisions: Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two.
History
The Scarborough & District Football League was founded in 1898 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The inaugural season consisted of just six clubs, but the league has since grown to its current size of 18 clubs. The league has been won by a variety of clubs over the years, with Seamer Sports being the most successful team with 13 titles.
The league has been suspended on several occasions due to war and other events. The longest suspension was during World War II, when the league was not played from 1939 to 1945.
Current Season
The 2022-23 season is the 125th season of the Scarborough & District Football League. The Premier Division is currently led by Seamer Sports, with Scalby and Filey Town in second and third place respectively.
