Introduction
The Sandwell Minor League Under Ten's is a grassroots football league for young people in Sandwell, West Midlands. The league was founded in 2004 by Sandwell Leisure Trust, and currently has over 60 teams participating.
The league caters for players aged 9 and 10 years old, and is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division One. Games are played on a Sunday afternoon at King George V playing fields in West Bromwich.
The league is affiliated to the Birmingham & District AFA, and players are eligible to represent Sandwell at county level.
Recent Results
- In the 2022/23 season, the Premier Division was won by Smethwick Raiders, with Hill Top Rangers finishing in second place.
- The Division One was won by Mahal Minors, with West Bromwich Albion Community Trust finishing in second place.
- The top scorer in the Premier Division was Charlie Smith, with 25 goals.
- The top scorer in the Division One was Harry Jones, with 20 goals.
