Ryhope CW
Ryhope CW is an amateur football club based in Ryhope, Sunderland, England. They currently play in the Northern Football League Division 1.
History
The club was founded in 1908 as Ryhope Colliery Welfare. They played in the Wearside League until 1976, when they were promoted to the Northern League. The club won the Northern League Division 2 championship in 1980-81 and 1994-95.
Ryhope CW reached the final of the FA Vase in 1993, but lost to Whitley Bay. They also reached the final of the Durham Challenge Cup in 2022, but lost to South Shields.
Recent seasons
Ryhope CW finished fifth in the Northern League Division 1 in 2021-22. They resigned from the league in June 2022 and folded sometime later.
