Introduction
The Ryedale Football League is an amateur football league in North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1975 and currently has 30 clubs competing in four divisions.
The league is affiliated to the North Riding County Football Association.
The current champions are Ryedale Sports.
History
The Ryedale Football League was founded in 1975 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The inaugural season featured 12 clubs, and the first champions were Norton & Stockton Ancients.
The league has grown steadily over the years, and currently has 30 clubs competing in four divisions.
The league has been sponsored by a number of different companies over the years, including Tetley's, Greene King, and Admiral.
Current season
The current season is the 48th season of the Ryedale Football League. The league is divided into four divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three.
The current champions are Ryedale Sports, who won the Premier Division title in the 2022-23 season.
