Introduction
The Russell Foster Mini Soccer League is an amateur football league for children and young people in the North East of England. It was founded in 1996 and currently has over 100 teams playing in a variety of age groups.
The league is affiliated to the Durham County Football Association and all teams must abide by its rules and regulations. The league also has its own code of conduct, which all players, coaches and officials are expected to adhere to.
The Russell Foster Mini Soccer League is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. It has a zero-tolerance policy on discrimination and bullying.
League Structure
The Russell Foster Mini Soccer League is divided into a number of divisions, based on age and ability. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and so on.
Each division has a set number of teams, which play each other home and away. The teams at the top of the table at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the teams at the bottom are relegated to the lower division.
The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Russell Foster Cup, the Durham County Cup, and the FA Vase.
