Introduction

The Rdyfl (Rowsley & District Youth Football League) is an amateur football league for children and young adults in the Derbyshire Dales. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams playing in various age groups from Under-7s to Under-18s.

The league is affiliated to the Derbyshire County Football Association and follows its rules and regulations. It also has a strict code of conduct that all its members must adhere to.

Competitions

  • The league runs a league competition for each age group, with teams playing each other home and away.
  • There is also a cup competition for each age group, with teams competing in a knockout format.
  • The league also runs a festival of football for Under-7s and Under-8s, with teams playing a number of matches against each other on a single day.
