Introduction

The Random League is an amateur football league based in Houston, Texas. It was founded in 1941 by a group of friends who wanted to play football without the pressure of competition. The league is open to all players, regardless of skill level.

The Random League plays its games on Sunday afternoons at various parks and fields in Houston. The season runs from late August to early November.

For example, there is no tackling in the Random League. Players are only allowed to "bump and run" each other.

There is also no limit on the number of players on the field. Teams can have as many players as they want.
