Presidio League Aa-a
The Presidio League Aa-a is an amateur football league in San Francisco, California. It is one of the oldest and most competitive amateur football leagues in the country, having been founded in 1922. The league is divided into two divisions, Aa and A, with each division having four teams. The regular season runs from April to June, with the playoffs held in July.
History
The Presidio League Aa-a was founded in 1922 by a group of former college football players who wanted to continue playing the game after their playing days were over. The league quickly became one of the most competitive amateur football leagues in the country, and has produced many players who have gone on to play professional football.
