Introduction
The Premier 2 is an under-21 football league in England. It is the second tier of the Premier League's reserve team competition, below the Premier League 2 Division 1.
The league was founded in 2012 and currently consists of 14 teams. The teams are divided into two groups, with each team playing each other once at home and once away. The top two teams in each group qualify for the promotion playoffs, while the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Premier League 2 Division 2.
The current champions of the Premier 2 are Manchester City U21.
Format

Rules
- The maximum age of players is 21.
- A team can have a maximum of three players over the age of 21 in their matchday squad.
- A team can only register a maximum of 25 players for the season.
