Potteries Mini League
The Potteries Mini League is an amateur football league based in the Stoke-on-Trent area of England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The league is affiliated to the Football Association and its teams are eligible to compete in the FA Vase and FA Trophy. The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Potteries Mini League Cup and the Potteries Mini League Challenge Cup.
History
The Potteries Mini League was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league's first season saw 12 teams compete in a single division. The league has since grown to over 100 teams and now has four divisions.
The league has been affiliated to the Football Association since 1974. This allows its teams to compete in the FA Vase and FA Trophy. The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Potteries Mini League Cup and the Potteries Mini League Challenge Cup.
Current Season
The current season of the Potteries Mini League is the 2022-23 season. The league is divided into four divisions: Division One, Division Two, Division Three, and Division Four.
The top two teams from each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams from each division are relegated to the previous division.
The current champions of the Potteries Mini League are Hanley Town Juniors.
