Portsmouth Youth Football League
The Portsmouth Youth Football League (PYFL) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing competitive programs in the sport of football for youth participants in preparation for local, regional and national levels of competition.
The PYFL was founded in 1906 and is one of the oldest youth football leagues in the country. It currently has over 4,000 players registered, from ages 7 to 18. The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on age and ability.
The PYFL offers a variety of programs, including:
- Competitive leagues
- Non-competitive leagues
- Developmental programs
- Goalkeeping programs
- Refereeing courses
The PYFL is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all players. All coaches and referees are volunteers who are trained in child protection and safety procedures.
