Portsmouth Saturday Football League
The Portsmouth Saturday Football League is an amateur football league based in Hampshire, England. It was formed in 2000 and currently has two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One.
History
The Portsmouth Saturday Football League was formed in 2000 as a successor to the Portsmouth & District League, which had been in existence since 1921. The new league was formed with the aim of providing a more competitive and structured environment for amateur football in the Portsmouth area.
The league has grown steadily since its formation and currently has over 50 teams competing in its two divisions. The Premier Division is the highest level of competition in the league and sits at level 12 of the English football league system. Teams may be promoted from the league to the Hampshire Premier League Division One.
Current Season
The current season of the Portsmouth Saturday Football League is the 2022-23 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by Bishops Waltham Dynamos, while Division One is being led by Budd AFC.
