What is Pibfal?

Pibfal is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 1,000 teams participating. The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on the level of competition.

The name Pibfal is an acronym for "Plaatselijk Improviserend Bedrijfsvoetbal", which means "Local Improvises Business Football". The league was founded by a group of businessmen who wanted to create a more informal and relaxed atmosphere for playing football.
