Peterborough and District Junior Alliance FA Accredited League
The Peterborough and District Junior Alliance FA Accredited League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7-16 in the Peterborough area.
The league was founded in 1967 and currently has over 100 teams affiliated to it. The teams are divided into age groups and ability levels, with each team playing 10-12 matches per season.
The league is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and all its teams are required to adhere to the FA's Respect Code of Conduct. This code of conduct sets out a set of rules and guidelines for players, managers, coaches and parents to follow in order to create a positive and enjoyable environment for all involved in youth football.
League Structure
The Peterborough and District Junior Alliance FA Accredited League is divided into three divisions:
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
The top four teams in Division One at the end of the season are promoted to the next level, while the bottom four teams in Division Three are relegated to the level below.
In addition to the three divisions, the league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the following:
- The Junior Alliance Cup
- The Junior Alliance Challenge Cup
- The Junior Alliance Knockout Cup
