Introduction

The Perry Street And District League Division One is an amateur football league in south Somerset, west Dorset and East Devon, England. It is the top division of the Perry Street and District League, and is currently contested by 10 clubs.

History

The Perry Street and District League was formed in 1903 by Charles Edward Small, the owner of the Perry Street Lace Works. The league has been played continuously since then, and has been expanded several times over the years. The current Division One was created in 2017, when the Perry Street and District League merged with the Chard and Ilminster League.

The current season of the Perry Street And District League Division One began on 25th August 2023 and is scheduled to end on 27th May 2024. The current table is as follows:

  • Halstock (27 points)
  • Misterton (24 points)
  • Forton Rangers (21 points)
  • Perry Street & Yonder Hill (18 points)
  • Barrington (15 points)
  • Shepton Beauchamp (12 points)
  • Combe St Nicholas Reserves (9 points)
The top two teams at the end of the season will be promoted to the Perry Street and District League Premier Division. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the Perry Street and District League Division Two.
