P4S Challenge Cup
The P4S Challenge Cup is an amateur football league for school teams, organized by Prep4Sport. The tournament is held at St George's Park, the national football training center for England, and Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.
History
The P4S Challenge Cup began in Autumn 2017 with an 8-team football tournament at St George's Park. Since then demand has dictated that it has expanded to include further dates at SGP, an extra venue in Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, more teams, more age-groups and more sports and genders!
The tournament is now one of the most prestigious school football events in the UK, with teams from all over the country competing for the title.
Format
The P4S Challenge Cup is a two-day tournament. On day one, teams play in a group stage, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the knockout stages on day two. All teams play a minimum of four games, regardless of their progress in the tournament.
The knockout stages are played on a single-elimination basis, with the winners of each match progressing to the next round. The final is played on day two, with the winning team being crowned P4S Challenge Cup champions.
