OFA Boys League

The OFA Boys League is an amateur football league in Owego, New York. It was founded in 1952 and is currently in its 71st season. The league is open to boys ages 5-14 and offers a variety of divisions, including:

  • Pee-Wee (5-7 years old)
  • Midget (8-10 years old)
  • Junior Varsity (11-12 years old)
  • Varsity (13-14 years old)

The league plays its games at the Ogdensburg Free Academy football field. The season runs from late August to early November.

History

Ofa Boys League action

The OFA Boys League was founded in 1952 by a group of local parents who wanted to provide their sons with the opportunity to play football. The league started with just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years. Today, the league has over 100 players.

The OFA Boys League has a long history of success. The league has produced several players who have gone on to play college football, including former NFL player Matt Morley.
