Norwich and District Development League
The Norwich and District Development League is an amateur football league based in Norwich, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has 32 teams competing in three divisions.
The league is affiliated to the Norfolk County Football Association. The current champions are Acle Rangers.
History
The Norwich and District Development League was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just 10 teams, but has since grown to its current size of 32 teams.
The league has been won by a variety of teams over the years, including Acle Rangers, Bungay Town, and Hethersett Athletic.
Divisions
The Norwich and District Development League is divided into three divisions:
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
The teams in each division play each other home and away, with the top teams at the end of the season being promoted to the next division. The bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
