Northern Counties Soccer Association
The Northern Counties Soccer Association (NCSA) is an amateur soccer league in northern New Jersey and nearby New York. It was founded in 1973 and currently has over 80 clubs and 1,000 teams. The NCSA offers leagues for all ages and skill levels, from U6 to adult.
History
The NCSA was founded in 1973 by a group of soccer enthusiasts in northern New Jersey. The league began with just a few clubs, but it has grown steadily over the years. In 2009, the NCSA became a member of US Club Soccer, the national governing body for amateur soccer in the United States.
The NCSA has a long history of producing talented players. Several NCSA alumni have gone on to play professional soccer, including Tim Howard, DaMarcus Beasley, and Heather Mitts.
League Structure
The NCSA offers leagues for all ages and skill levels. The leagues are divided into divisions based on age and ability. The NCSA also offers a variety of tournaments throughout the year.
The NCSA's competitive leagues are sanctioned by US Club Soccer. This means that the leagues meet certain standards of quality and competition. The NCSA's recreational leagues are not sanctioned by US Club Soccer.
