Introduction
The Northern 3b is an amateur football league in north east England for semi-professional and amateur teams. It is currently in the 110th season of its existence.
The league is divided into two divisions, with each division having 14 teams. The teams play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each division are promoted to the Northern 3a, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Northern 3c.
The league cup is also contested by the teams in the Northern 3b. The cup winner qualifies for the FA Vase.
The current champions of the Northern 3b are Morpeth Town.
