Northants Combination Football League

The Northamptonshire Combination Football League is an amateur football league in Northamptonshire, England. It was formed in 1953 when the Mid Northants League and the Central Village League merged to become the Central Northants Football Combination. The current name change was made in 1991.

The league currently consists of 5 divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, Division Three, and Division Four. The Premier Division is the top division and is currently sponsored by Duston Garage.

The league has a total of 72 teams, with teams from all over Northamptonshire, including Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, and Rushden.

History

The Northants Combination Football League was formed in 1953 when the Mid Northants League and the Central Village League merged. The league initially consisted of 16 teams, all of which were from villages in around Northampton.

The league has grown steadily over the years and now consists of 72 teams. The Premier Division is the top division and is currently sponsored by Duston Garage.

Current Season

The current season is the 2022-2023 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by AFC Houghton Magna, with Corby Kingswood in second place.

The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the Premier Division KO Cup, Division One KO Cup, Division Two KO Cup, Division Three KO Cup, Division Four KO Cup, and Division Five KO Cup.
