North Valley And Burnley Unity U9s League
The North Valley And Burnley Unity U9s League is an amateur football league for under-9s players in the North Valley and Burnley areas of England.
History
The league was founded in 2009 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The inaugural season had 10 teams participating. The league has grown steadily since then, and currently has over 20 teams.
Competitions
The league runs a number of competitions, including a league season, a cup competition, and a plate competition. The league season is the main competition, and is divided into two divisions. The top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the top division, and the bottom teams are relegated to the bottom division. The cup competition is open to all teams in the league, and is played in a knockout format. The plate competition is for teams that are knocked out of the cup competition early.
