North Riding Football League
The North Riding Football League is an English football league that was founded in 2017 by the merger of the former Teesside Football League and Eskvale & Cleveland League.
The league has three divisions – the Premier Division (which stands at level 11 of the English football league system), Division One and Women's Premier Division.
History
The North Riding Football League was formed in 2017 by the merger of the former Teesside Football League and Eskvale & Cleveland League. The Teesside Football League was founded in 1905, while the Eskvale & Cleveland League was founded in 1974.
The league's first season was in 2017-18, with 36 teams competing in the Premier Division. The champions were Darlington Railway Athletic, who were promoted to the Northern League.
In the 2022-23 season, the league has 50 teams competing in the Premier Division, Division One and Women's Premier Division.
Current Season
The current season (2022-23) is the sixth season of the North Riding Football League. The Premier Division is currently led by Boro Rangers, while the Women's Premier Division is led by Guisborough Town Ladies.
The league cup for the men's teams is the North Riding Football League Cup, while the league cup for the women's teams is the North Riding Women's Football League Cup.
