North Kent Sunday League
The North Kent Sunday League is an amateur football league based in the county of Kent, England. It was founded in 1962 and currently has four divisions: Senior, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three.
The league is affiliated to the Kent County Football Association and its teams compete in a variety of cup competitions, including the Kent Sunday Premier Cup, the Kent Sunday Junior Cup, and the Kent Sunday Challenge Cup.
History
The North Kent Sunday League was founded in 1962 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams competing in its four divisions.
The league has been home to some of the best amateur footballers in Kent, including former England internationals David Beckham and Sol Campbell.
Current Season
The 2023-2024 season is currently underway. The Senior Division is currently being led by Sun FC, who have won all of their games so far.
The other divisions are also very competitive, with several teams in contention for promotion.
