North East Norfolk Youth League

The North East Norfolk Youth League (NENYL) is an amateur football league for children and young people in the North East of Norfolk, England.

The league was founded in 1922 and is affiliated to the Norfolk Football Association. It currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.

Divisions

The NENYL is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age of the players. The divisions are:

  • Under-7s
  • Under-8s
  • Under-9s
  • Under-10s
  • Under-11s
  • Under-12s
  • Under-13s
  • Under-14s
  • Under-15s
  • Under-16s
  • Under-17s
  • Under-18s

The teams in each division play each other home and away, with the top teams at the end of the season being promoted to the next division and the bottom teams being relegated to the previous division.

Cup Competitions

In addition to the league competition, the NENYL also runs a number of cup competitions, including:

  • The Norfolk Junior Cup
  • The Norfolk Under-15s Cup
  • The Norfolk Under-16s Cup
  • The Norfolk Under-17s Cup
  • The Norfolk Under-18s Cup

The cup competitions are open to all teams in the NENYL, and provide an opportunity for teams to compete for silverware.
