Introduction
The North East Hampshire Youth League (NEHYL) is an amateur football league for youth teams in Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. It is sanctioned by the Hampshire FA and is a Charter Standard League.The NEHYL was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 member clubs. The league runs competitions for boys and girls teams from Under-7 to Under-18 level.
The NEHYL is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for young players to develop their football skills. The league also has a strong focus on fair play and sportsmanship.
Competitions
The NEHYL runs a variety of competitions for boys and girls teams from Under-7 to Under-18 level. The competitions are divided into age groups and ability levels.- The Premier Division is the top division for boys and girls teams.
- The Division 1 is the second tier for boys and girls teams.
- The Division 2 is the third tier for boys and girls teams.
- The Development League is for boys and girls teams who are new to the league or who are looking for a more relaxed competitive environment.
In addition to the league competitions, the NEHYL also runs a variety of cup competitions. The most prestigious cup competition is the NEHYL Cup, which is open to all teams in the league.
