North East Combination League Sunday
The North East Combination League Sunday (NECFL Sunday) is an amateur football league in the North East of England. It is a member of the North East Football Combination (NECFL), which also runs a Saturday league.
The NECFL Sunday was founded in 1979 and currently has 20 teams competing in two divisions: the Premier Division and Division One. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice.
The current champions are Fawdon Park, who won the Premier Division in the 2022/23 season. The top two teams in each division are promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated.
