Introduction
The NIFL Reserve League is an intermediate association football league in Northern Ireland consisting of the reserve teams of the twelve NIFL Premiership clubs. It is currently sponsored by Danske Bank.
The league was founded in 1995 and is currently in its 28th season. The current champions are Crusaders Reserves, who won the title in 2022-23.
The league is played on a double-round basis, with each team playing each other team twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the NIFL Premiership, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the NIFL Premier Intermediate League.
