Newcastle Corinthians League

The Newcastle Corinthians League is an English regional football league in the area of Newcastle upon Tyne. It was founded in 1999 and has two divisions, Division 1 and Division 2. The top division, Division 1, is currently on the 14th level of the English football pyramid. The league is a feeder league to the Northern Football Alliance.

History

The Newcastle Corinthians League was founded in 1999 by teams that were previously members of Newcastle University's internal league. The league initially had three divisions, but this was reduced to two divisions in 2005.

Newcastle Corinthians League action

In 2019, the Newcastle Corinthians League merged with the North Northumberland League to form the North East Combination. The North East Combination currently has four divisions, with the Newcastle Corinthians League forming Division 1.
