Nehyl Amateur Football League
The Nehyl Amateur Football League is a non-profit organization that organizes and runs amateur football leagues in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 clubs and 5,000 players.
History
The Nehyl Amateur Football League was founded in 1972 by a group of football enthusiasts who wanted to create a more affordable and accessible way to play the game. The league started with just a few clubs, but it has grown steadily over the years.
In 2000, the Nehyl Amateur Football League became affiliated with the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB). This affiliation gave the league access to KNVB training courses and facilities, and it also helped to raise the profile of the league.
Competitions
The Nehyl Amateur Football League organizes a variety of competitions for players of all ages and abilities. The most popular competition is the Saturday League, which is open to men and women aged 16 and over. The league also organizes a Sunday League, a Veterans League, and a Women's League.
In addition to the regular leagues, the Nehyl Amateur Football League also organizes a number of cup competitions. The most prestigious cup competition is the Nehyl Cup, which is open to all clubs in the league.
