Rules
The rules of NB Leagues are based on the rules of FIFA. However, there are some minor modifications to the rules to accommodate the amateur level of play.
For example, the offside rule is slightly different in NB Leagues. In FIFA, a player is offside if they are in the opponent's half of the field and closer to the opponent's goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent. In NB Leagues, a player is only offside if they are in the opponent's half of the field and closer to the opponent's goal line than both the ball and the last opponent.
