National CP Football League
The National CP Football League is an amateur football league for adults with cerebral palsy. It is managed by a committee and provides monthly fixtures throughout the season as well as the CP Cup. Winners of the league and the CP cup qualify for the FA Disability Cup.
How to play CP football
CP football is played 7-a-side on a smaller pitch than regular football. The offside rule does not apply, and there are a maximum of five substitutions allowed. Players are classified into three sport classes based on their level of disability:
- FT1: Players with severe physical impairment
- FT2: Players with moderate physical impairment
- FT3: Players with mild physical impairment
