Monday Spring Fives
Monday Spring Fives is an amateur football league that is played in London, England. The league was founded in 2005 and is currently in its 18th season.
The league is open to all players of all abilities, and there are teams of varying levels of experience. The games are played on Monday evenings at various pitches in London.
Rules
- The games are 5-a-side, with 7-minute halves.
- There is no offside rule.
- The ball must be touched by a player from each team before a goal can be scored.
- There is no goalkeeper.
Format
The league is split into two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division One. The top four teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season qualify for the playoffs, with the winner being crowned champions.
The bottom two teams in the Premier Division are relegated to Division One, while the top two teams in Division One are promoted to the Premier Division.
