Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL)
The Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 9-18 in the West Midlands, England. It is affiliated with the Birmingham FA.
History
The MJPL was founded in 2010 by a group of football enthusiasts who wanted to provide a competitive and challenging environment for young players in the West Midlands. The league has grown rapidly since its inception, and now has over 100 clubs and 2,000 players.
The MJPL is divided into age groups and divisions, with each team playing 20-22 matches per season. The league is also home to a number of cup competitions, including the MJPL Cup and the MJPL Shield.
Format
The MJPL season runs from September to May. Each team plays each of their other teams in their division twice, once at home and once away. The top teams in each division qualify for the playoffs, with the winners of the playoffs being crowned champions.
The MJPL also has a number of cup competitions, including the MJPL Cup and the MJPL Shield. The MJPL Cup is open to all teams in the league, while the MJPL Shield is only open to teams in the top two divisions.
