Milton Keynes Vet League
The Milton Keynes Vet League is an amateur football league for players over the age of 35. It was founded in 2003 and currently has 3 divisions, with a total of 24 teams. The league is affiliated to the Football Association.
History
The Milton Keynes Vet League was founded in 2003 by a group of football enthusiasts who wanted to provide a competitive league for players over the age of 35. The league started with just 10 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 24 teams.
The league has been a great success and has helped to provide a much-needed outlet for older players to continue playing football at a competitive level. The league is also a great way for players to make new friends and stay active.
Divisions
The Milton Keynes Vet League currently has 3 divisions:
- Division 1
- Division 2
- Division 3
Division 1 is the top division in the league and is made up of the strongest teams. Division 2 is the second division and is made up of teams that are not quite as strong as the teams in Division 1. Division 3 is the third division and is made up of teams that are new to the league or that are not as strong as the teams in Divisions 1 and 2.
Cup Competitions
The Milton Keynes Vet League also has a number of cup competitions, including:
- Division 1 Cup
- Milton Keynes Vets Cup
- Milton Keynes Vets Plate
The Division 1 Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league and is contested by the teams in Division 1. The Milton Keynes Vets Cup is open to all teams in the league and is the most popular cup competition in the league. The Milton Keynes Vets Plate is a knockout competition for teams that are knocked out of the Division 1 Cup and the Milton Keynes Vets Cup.
