Mid Lincs Youth League
The Mid Lincs Youth League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7 to 18 in Lincolnshire, England. It is affiliated to the Lincolnshire FA.
History
The Mid Lincs Youth League was founded in 1972. The league started with just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years. Today, the league has over 100 teams playing in a variety of age groups.
Structure
The Mid Lincs Youth League is divided into four divisions: Division One, Division Two, Division Three, and Division Four. Each division has a set number of teams, and the teams play each other home and away.
The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.
Cup competitions
The Mid Lincs Youth League also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Mid Lincs Youth League Cup, the Mid Lincs Youth League Challenge Cup, and the Mid Lincs Youth League Plate.
The Mid Lincs Youth League Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league. It is open to all teams in the league, and the winner of the cup is automatically promoted to Division One.
