Mid Lancashire Football League
The Mid Lancashire Football League is an amateur football league in the English county of Lancashire. It was founded in 1921 and currently has 10 clubs in its Premier Division.
History
The Mid Lancashire Football League was founded in 1921 by a group of clubs in the Chorley area. The league originally had four divisions, but this was reduced to three in 1972. The Premier Division was introduced in 1992.
The league has been won by a number of clubs over the years, including Chorley, Leyland, and Penwortham. The current champions are Standish St. Wilfrids.
Current Season
The 2022-23 season is the 102nd season of the Mid Lancashire Football League. The Premier Division is currently led by Standish St. Wilfrids, followed by Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs and Bickerstaffe.
