About the MGBSFL
The Maccabi GB Southern Football League (MGBSFL) is an amateur football league in London, England. It was founded in 1948 and is affiliated to the Football Association. The league currently has three divisions, with a total of 40 clubs.
The MGBSFL is open to players of all abilities, regardless of their religious or ethnic background. The league's mission is to "promote football within the Jewish community and to provide a competitive and enjoyable environment for players of all ages and abilities."
The MGBSFL season runs from September to May. The league cup competitions are the Peter Morrison Trophy, the Cyril Anekstein Trophy, and the David Wolff Trophy.
