Medway Messenger League

The Medway Messenger League is an amateur football league based in the Medway Towns in Kent, England. It was founded in 1965 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.

History

The Medway Messenger League was founded in 1965 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league was originally called the Medway Towns League, but it was renamed the Medway Messenger League in 1972 after the Medway Messenger newspaper became the league's sponsor.

The Medway Messenger League has grown steadily over the years and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions. The league's top division is the Premier Division, which is currently sponsored by Medway Council.
