Medway Messenger Youth League
The Medway Messenger Youth League is an amateur football league for children and young people in the Medway towns of Kent, England. It was founded in 1965 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups.
The league is affiliated to the Football Association and follows its rules and regulations. Matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays during the winter months.
League Structure
The Medway Messenger Youth League is divided into three divisions:
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
Teams are promoted and relegated between divisions based on their finishing position in the league table at the end of the season.
Cup Competitions
The Medway Messenger Youth League also runs a number of cup competitions, including:
- The Medway Messenger Cup
- The Medway Messenger Challenge Cup
- The Medway Messenger Trophy
These cup competitions are open to all teams in the league and provide an opportunity for teams to win silverware.
