Masters Football League
Masters Football is a six-a-side indoor football tournament for former professional footballers aged over 35. The competition was originally broadcast on Sky Sports from 2000 to 2011, but it was revived in 2022 by online streaming platform 360 Sports TV.
How it works
The Masters Football League is played on a 60m x 30m indoor pitch, with no offside rule. Each team consists of nine players, with only six allowed on the pitch at any one time. The games are played over two halves of eight minutes each.
The competition is divided into regional qualifying rounds, with the winners progressing to the national finals. The national finals are usually held in a major city, and they are often broadcast live on television.
