The Maidstone & District Football League is an amateur football league based in Kent, England. It was founded in 1904 and currently has 10 divisions, with over 200 clubs participating.
History
The Maidstone & District Football League was founded in 1904 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just four divisions, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 10 divisions.
The league has been home to some of the most successful amateur football clubs in Kent, including Maidstone United, who have won the FA Vase twice.
Current Structure
The Maidstone & District Football League currently has 10 divisions, with each division having between 12 and 16 teams. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and so on.
The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the Benevolent Cup, the Challenge Cup, and the Presidents Cup.
