London Schools FA football league
The London Schools FA football league is a competitive football league for schools in London. It is run by the London Schools FA, which is the governing body for football in schools in London.
The league was founded in 1904 and is the oldest schools football league in the world. It currently has over 1,000 schools participating in it.
The league structure
The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on the size of the school. The top division is the Premier Division, and the bottom division is the Division 8.
The league season runs from September to April, and each team plays a number of matches against other teams in their division. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, and the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
The cup competitions
In addition to the league, there are also a number of cup competitions for schools in London. The most prestigious cup competition is the London Schools FA Cup, which is open to all schools in London.
Other cup competitions include the London Schools FA Vase, the London Schools FA Trophy, and the London Schools FA Under-18 Cup.
