Introduction
The London Accountants Football League (LAFL) is an amateur football league for accountants in London, England. It was founded in 1998 and currently has 12 teams competing in two divisions, the Premiership and the Championship.
The LAFL is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its teams play to FA rules. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other team twice. The top two teams in the Premiership at the end of the season are promoted to the Championship, while the bottom two teams in the Championship are relegated to the Premiership.
The LAFL is a competitive league but also a friendly and social environment for accountants to play football. The league organizes a number of social events throughout the season, including a Christmas party and a summer barbecue.
