Liverpool CP Springfield League
The Liverpool CP Springfield League is an amateur football league based in Merseyside, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in various age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The league is affiliated to the Liverpool County FA and the Football Association. It is a competitive league, but it also places a strong emphasis on fun and sportsmanship.
Season Structure
The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
There is also a cup competition held each season, open to all teams in the league.
