Liverpool County Prem football league
The Liverpool County Premier Football League (LCPFL) is a football league in Merseyside, England. It is the top tier of the Liverpool County Football Association (LCFA) pyramid, and is currently in its 124th season.
The league was founded in 1899 as the Liverpool and District League, and was renamed the Liverpool County League in 1921. It was renamed the Liverpool County Premier Football League in 2008.
The league consists of 20 teams, and is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division. The Premier Division champions are promoted to the North West Counties Football League, while the bottom two teams in the Premier Division are relegated to the First Division. The First Division champions are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams in the First Division are relegated to the Liverpool County League.
