Lincoln & District Sunday League
The Lincoln & District Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Lincoln, England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has 46 teams competing in three divisions.
The league is affiliated to the Lincolnshire FA and is eligible to enter teams into the FA Sunday Cup. The current champions are Hykeham Town TRFC.
History
The Lincoln & District Sunday League was founded in 1920 by a group of local footballers. The first season saw 12 teams compete, and the league has grown steadily ever since.
The league has been won by a number of different clubs over the years, with Hykeham Town TRFC the most successful team, having won the title 13 times.
Current Season
The 2023-2024 season is the 103rd season of the Lincoln & District Sunday League. The league is currently sponsored by Sills & Betteridge.
The three divisions are:
- Premier Division
- Division One
- Division Two
The current champions are Hykeham Town TRFC, who won the Premier Division last season.
