LFFS Bw Football League
The LFFS Bw football league is a grassroots football league in Belgium. It is organized by the Ligue Francophone de Football de Bruxelles-Wallonie (LFFS Bw), which is the regional football association for the Brussels-Wallonia region.
The league was founded in 1920 and currently has over 1,000 teams competing in various divisions. The top division is the Promotion League, followed by the 1st Amateur Division, the 2nd Amateur Division, and the 3rd Amateur Division. There are also several regional leagues for youth teams.
Season Format
The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other team in their division once. The top two teams in each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the next lower division.
The Promotion League champions are promoted to the Belgian Second Division Amateur, while the runners-up play a playoff against the 14th-placed team in the Belgian Second Division Amateur for a place in the next season's league.
