About the Langbaurgh Sunday League
The Langbaurgh Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland, England. It is affiliated to the North Riding County FA.
The league was founded in 1972 and currently has 25 teams competing in two divisions. The Premier Division is the top division, while Division One is the second division.
The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other once in the regular season. The top two teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the North Riding County League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
The league also has a cup competition, the Terry Smith Trophy, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup final is usually played in May.
